Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Candor Retreats, we value transparency and fairness. Because our retreats require significant planning, advance payments, and limited guest spots, we have established the following policy:
Deposits
All deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Deposits secure your space at the retreat and are applied toward your total balance.
Refunds
Refunds (excluding the deposit) are available up to 40 days before the retreat start date.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 40 days of the retreat start date.
Outstanding Balances
All balances must be paid in full by the stated due date. Guests who have not completed payment may forfeit their spot without refund of any payments already made.
Emergencies
In rare and extraordinary circumstances (e.g., serious medical emergencies), a partial credit toward a future retreat may be considered at the sole discretion of Candor Retreats. Supporting documentation may be requested.
Transfers & Credits
If you cannot attend, you may request to transfer your spot to another participant approved by Candor Retreats.
Credits toward a future retreat may be offered only at the discretion of Candor Retreats.
Event Changes
If Candor Retreats must cancel or reschedule, all payments (including deposits) will be fully refunded or transferred to a future event, at your choice.

Can I come alone, or do I need to bring a friend?
Absolutely! Many of our guests attend solo, and the retreat is intentionally designed to help you feel comfortable, welcomed, and supported from the moment you arrive. Coming alone is a beautiful way to focus entirely on yourself and often leads to deep new connections.
If you’d like to attend with a friend, you’re welcome to book together. We can often arrange shared accommodations if requested, or you may choose separate rooms depending on availability. Attending with a friend can be a wonderful way to share the experience, while still having plenty of space for your own reflection and growth.
Either way—solo or with a friend—you’ll be fully embraced by the retreat community.

Will I be sharing a room?
Retreat accommodations vary, and we do our best to make sure everyone feels comfortable. Some retreats include shared rooms, while others offer a mix of shared and private options. If you’re coming with a friend, we can usually arrange for you to room together.
If you’re attending solo and in a shared room, you’ll be thoughtfully paired with another guest. Many participants find that sharing a space adds to the sense of connection and community. Please note: you will never be asked to share a bed with another guest—each person will always have their own bed.
If you strongly prefer a private room, please let us know at booking—availability is limited and would usually come with an additional cost.
