Rewriting the Story
Astoria, New York · August 16, 2026
Rewriting the Story is a women-centered immersive workshop designed to support healing, reflection, and personal transformation through guided writing, facilitated dialogue, and psychologically grounded practices. Created as a structured, trauma-informed space for women seeking deeper self-understanding and authentic connection, this half-day experience invites participants to move from surviving toward shaping their lives with greater intention, self-compassion, and clarity.
Facilitated by Dr. Sarah Baquet and Dr. Ashley Rodriguez, the workshop blends narrative reflection, relational healing, and gentle embodied practices to support the transformation of fragmented experiences into a more coherent and empowered personal narrative. Together, participants will explore identity development, intergenerational influences, self-trust, voice, and the stories we carry — within a supportive community rooted in care, confidentiality, and collective witness.
Grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and trauma-informed care, Rewriting the Story offers practical tools to strengthen psychological flexibility, align with personal values, increase resilience, and deepen self-authorship. Through intentional dialogue and experiential exercises, participants are invited to reconnect with themselves and others in ways that feel restorative, meaningful, and emotionally honest.
